Steven Pinker: The stuff of thought

June 8, 2010 § 1 Comment

As I mentioned in a previous post, I am currently reading “The Blank Slate” by Steven Pinker, which is a great breakdown of how the brain works, the way the brain is formed, and the nature/nurture argument in modern psychology, philosophy and science. Highly recommended and easy to read.

This video is a taste of how Pinker’s brain and ideas works, he talks of the way language works and the stuff of thought. This was taken from the TED talks in 2007. Please watch and enjoy.
